Friday afternoon. I’ve some work but I’m still not 100% well and feeling lazy. I will probably start fresh from Monday. Tried sleeping but couldn’t hence writing this. I went to Bangalore on 28th Feb. There was no reason for me to go there but every few months I get this urge to go and stay in Bangalore. Although I did want to skip Holi at home so that was a plus point. And then with the Kerala plan, I thought it will be easier to just go from Bangalore. And I could also attend office for a few days.
Okay so, 28th Feb. I reached Bangalore in the afternoon. I get this weird feeling whenever I see the Bangalore airport. I once spent 8-9 hours there with someone and it always feels like yesterday. I left the airport without eating anything and went straight to the BnB. I had taken a bnb in Kormangala this time as it was closer to my office and also it was a nice area to explore. BnB was nice but there was a major problem. There was no Jio signal in that area and specifically in my room. All I had was the apartment’s wifi and I had to work with that. Other than that, the place was really nice and cozy. But now the biggest problem was that I had to spend the next 10 days there and I had no idea what to do.
For the first one or two days, I explored the nearby areas and cafes. It was very hot in bangalore so I didn’t go out much in the morning and afternoon. In the evening I would go out to see the Pink Trumpet trees. There was also a lunar eclipse that I saw from the street. But that was all. There were no friends I could meet up with. I spent 10 days staying in the BnB and I was counting the days until I could leave for Kerala.
I planned to go to office on 9th, 10th and 11th so I could do something productive. Office was fun. It’s full of energy and it was nice to see everyone after a long time. I had a demo on 11th which went well. I also shifted the BnB on 11th to a place near the airport so that it would be easier for me to catch my flight the next day. That place was also very pretty. Before shifting to this new BnB, I got a message from Pari to meet before leaving for Kerala. We didn’t meet for the 10 days while I was there because she was busy but she wanted to celebrate my birthday. I met her on 10th and went to a restaurant and it was nice. The demo day went perfect and I got to see the new SAP office near the airport. IT IS AMAZING. There’s a spa room in the campus 🫥 I took leave early that day and spent the rest of the time at the BnB. Watched the sunset from the balcony and hoped for a few things to go my way. This is how the March Bangalore trip ended. For the first time, I didn’t go to Kirloskar while in Bangalore. I wanted to but it just doesn’t feel the same. I wish things were different. I wish I could go back in time and change those things so I would still be living there. But it’s too late now.
