Went to a book fest today in City Center. I wasn’t planning to buy any books but ended up getting 5! Odyssey is coming next month so thought of reading both Iliad and Odyssey before that. One more book about myths around the world and a couple of Dostoevsky’s novels.
Weather is absolutely crazy and I am still waiting for the final confirmation to come to office. It’s raining there and I am getting FOMO. I also bought the Gorillaz tickets for their tour in January. It will happen in Bangalore and I am so excited for it. Because of what happened with Coldplay last year, I booked tickets for this one like a maniac and got 3 even though I don’t know anyone who might be interested to go 😛. In the end I will have to force some of my friends to come with me. The Mountain album was amazing and it touched me deeply and I want to see it performed live.
Last year, I wrote a lot about Taha and how he was acting after his breakup. I was worried that he might not be able to clear his UPSC prelims. But good news is that he cleared it this time as well and is now preparing for mains. Hopefully things will end up well for him. I am so proud of him. His exams is in August and just like last year when we went to Ladakh after his mains, this time we are planning for a northeast trip. So excited for it too!
