The renovation is finally complete. It took over a month and except the struggle, I am happy with the result. I finally have my setup back. But when you expect that things will get better after a certain point, it doesn’t always happen.
I will talk about it later. First, what I’ve been up to. I shifted back into my room yesterday evening and trying to put things together. Unpacking all the stuff I had packed in boxes and putting it all together. The bathroom is also as per my expectations. I also had the terrace fixed with tiles. Last few days were so hot that I was dying to get back to my room.
I asked Dipti Di to bring The Mountain album CD from Netherland and I loved it.
Yash got a Nescafe franchise and it is opening in his rental complex. He asked me to join but I just helped him with the money and didn’t join as a partner. The cafe will probably start in 7-10 days and I’m excited for the opening.
Work wise things are going great. Got awarded few days back for a high value delivery. The project is going really well. But my SAP manager raised a new laptop request for me and now I will have to go and collect it from Bangalore. While I didn’t want to go right now but the based on the last two days I think it is a good idea. First, the weather is scary hot here and it is raining in Bangalore. Secondly, day before yesterday I had a fight at home. I spent so much money and time to fix the home only for some mf to get drunk and try to ruin it. He threw plant pots made of stone on the terrace to break the tiles. I was downstairs and heard a loud noise. I ran up and saw the carnage and it made me so angry that I lost control. While I had promised myself not to induldge with him but this made me so furious that I had to intervene. Things got messy and I think it is a sign that I should go away for some time (and hope to never come back). I am just tired of all of this now. I don’t know whom to talk to or whom to share this with. Anyways, going out of town for few days will be good. I still don’t know when the laptop will be ready but as soon as it is I will go and stay there for a few weeks. Enough rant - or tbh its not even a rant but that’s all for now.
