2nd April, 2026

The long weekend is here. This week was pretty chill as there’s an event going to happen in the office next week, so everyone was busy preparing for it. Maybe I should have attended this event. But Bangalore is soooooo far that I can’t even plan anything on such short notice. It’s weird that when I am there, I want to come back here, and when I am here, I want to go back there. It feels like I don’t belong anywhere. Like last year, I will go once again in September or October. It rains during that time, which I absolutely love. I just checked and Dussehra is on the 20th of Oct and Diwali is in the first week of November. If I plan it well in advance, I can maybe spend both festivals there. There is still a lot of time for that though.

March was a blur. But now after coming back, the days feel so long. Apart from work, there isn’t much to do. I also stopped reading books for a while now. I should start again. I do have three things on my mind that I want to do. First, the renovation of my bedroom and bathroom. It is going to be a huge task and a lot of inconvenience. But once done, it will be worth it. I started planning today, and maybe if things go well, I can start in a couple of weeks. Second, I want to get back into shape. I have been feeling so lazy and lethargic. I want to start working out a bit and am checking out some nearby gyms. And lastly, I have to learn how to drive. It will be easier to travel on trips and stuff. I will try to start all these three things this month. The only issue is when the renovation starts, it will be difficult to make time for the other two things. Let’s see. Now about the long weekend, I don’t have any plans yet. I can’t even ask anyone to take short trips because unlike me, everyone has things to do. Anyway, I just came from a trip and this long weekend came too fast. I will save my leaves again and take a long vacation. It’s much better than 2-3 day trips. It would have been good if I had a place where I could go and chill for a few days. Varanaya is moving to Pune, so maybe I can visit him once in a while. I have heard Pune is similar to Bangalore. Now I don’t know what to write, so I’ll end here.
